About the Musician


Sarah Teichler is an accomplished performer and well-respected teacher of all ages. She plays flute and piccolo with the Salina Symphony, Salina, KS, and teaches music locally and online. Sarah loves making music with others, whether in an ensemble of highly skilled musicians, or in a class of toddlers just starting out their musical journey. Making music brings her great joy.


In addition to teaching flute, Sarah teaches general music at Christ the Savior Academy in Wichita and St. Mary Catholic School in Newton, directs choir and handbells for the Newton Home Educators Association, and teaches Kindermusik at Tabor College in Hillsboro and Bethel College in North Newton. 


She holds a Master of Music in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Wheaton, IL, and is a licensed Kindermusik educator. She is the mother of four musical children and resides with her family in Newton, KS.
